Egypt Entry Visa
Visitors and tourists can take an entry visa on passport at any of the main Egyptian ports or airports, airports, you should have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months) to get the entry visa to Egypt and also you can obtain the entry visa from the Egyptian diplomatic and consular missions in your country.
Entry Visa Types
There are many types of Egypt entry visa:-
Entry visa: it’s required for any coming foreigner to Egypt for reasons other than tourism like work, study, etc., and the valid entry visa is required to complete the procedure of the residence in Egypt.
Tourist visa: entry and it granted on multiple or single entry basis and it usual valid for 3 months.
Tourists who are arriving in Egypt from Taba or Sharm el-Sheikh can be exempted from entry visa fees and be obtain a free permit for residence valid for 14 days to stay and visit areas start from Sharm el Shiekh, Sainte Catherine and Taba, which mean tourists cannot pass to visit Ras-Muhammad protectorate area by this permission (Gulf Stamp).
But for renewal or extension the visa you can make it in the main visa department at the immigration and nationality administration which located at El Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo at Mogm3a El-Tahrir building.
Note: Keep in mind that while buying your visa and to exchange your currency only Euros, $US and The UK are accepted.
Egyptians with foreign passports:
Egyptians who hold a foreign passport can take a courtesy visa after a declaring proof for their Egyptian nationality by one of those (family or personal ID card, Egyptian passport or certification of birth, also for the foreign wife to Egyptian’s husband can take the a courtesy visa after declaring a proof of marriage.
How to take your visa and how much does it cost?
You will find the visa office before the immigration booth, and the Egyptian entry visa just like a stamp (like a postage or mail stamp), it will cost around 25$ and just stick it in any empty page on the passport then stand in the line on front of the immigration officer to stamp your passport and be care to take this stamp on the visa or just check our meet and assist services in the airport.

Western Europe citizens can take the entry visa easy upon their arrival or from Egyptians consulates in their countries.
Western Europe citizens cannot take visa upon their arrival and must take it from Egyptians consulates in their countries before arriving in Egypt.
Asia:
Japan, Republic of China, Singapore, South Korea, North Korea, Maldives, Brunei, Nepal. can take the entry visa easy upon their arrival or from Egyptians consulates in their countries.
The rest of Asian citizens cannot take visa upon their arrival and must take it from Egyptians consulates in their countries before arriving in Egypt.
Australia
Australian and New Zealand citizen can take the entry visa easy upon their arrival or from Egyptians consulates in their countries.
North America
Canadian and USA citizens can take the entry visa easy upon their arrival or from Egyptians consulates in their countries.
South America
Citizens of South America can take the entry visa easy upon their arrival or from Egyptians consulates in their countries.
Africa
All African citizens cannot take visa upon their arrival and must take it from Egyptians consulates in their countries before arriving in Egypt.
Middle East
Citizens which exempted from pre-arrival visa to Egypt:
Citizens of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Oman, Libya and Djibouti.
Citizens must get a pre-arrival visa to Egypt:
Algeria, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Tunisia, Sudan, Morocco, Mauritania and Somalia.
Note: while you are planning to travel to Egypt you must be updated from the Egyptian diplomatic and consular missions in your country at least by a phone call.
