Moses Mountain and Saint Catherine Monastery excursions from Sharm el-Sheikh

Hiking up the mountain is a special experience you’ll find in few destinations around the world. This is a wonderful tour for those wishing to explore Egypt’s holy places, and it’s about 220 km Northwest of Sharm El-Sheikh.

Your hotel pick-up time will be approximately 9 pm, where we will travel towards Moses Mountain. Here you will start your big climb up Moses Mount, which takes around three hours over 7500 feet. At around 2300 meters, you can rest at the holy peak wait to watch the fantastic sunrise.

In the morning, you will start the descent to visit the Saint Catherine Monastery, where you can visit the museum and iconic gallery, the church of transfiguration, the Moses Well and famous burning bush. The Monastery opens every day from 9 am to 12 pm, except Fridays and Sundays.

After visiting the Monastery you will have your breakfast in a local restaurant nearby, then we will drive you back to your hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh around 2 pm.

  Currency is set to GBP but you can pay in US Dollars or Euros. The price is per person per tour, and once you’ve confirmed your excursion, the price will not be changed.

  For this tour a down payment of £10 will be required upon your arrival to Sharm el Sheikh a maximum of 1 day before the tour, and the remaining balance will be required in cash on pick up from hotel on the tour day.

• Cancellation Policy:

  Cancellation of this tour must be made 24 hours before the tour date – “No Refund”.
