Luxor Excursion from Sharm El-Sheikh

Fly to the city which is known today as the world’s greatest open-air museum: Luxor.
For a one-day tour to Luxor to see Luxor’s most famous sights, you will fly to Luxor international airport and start your tour in the City of the Dead “West Bank“, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple “the only temple built in terrace formation into the cliff face in Egypt” and The Colossi of Memnon then move to “Eastern Bank” to see Karnak Temple before flying back Sharm El-Sheikh that evening.

Itinerary:
A Tourssharm.com rep. will pick you up early morning from the hotel and transfer you to Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport to fly to Luxor international airport. There you will find your Egyptologist guide waiting for you outside the terminal with a “Torussharm.com” sign.

The Valley of the Kings

The Egyptologist guide will then take you by our air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank of Luxor, known as the City of the Dead, the funerary complex of the ancient Egyptians, home of anything that has died and is no longer. You will visit The Valley of the Kings, a truly impressive valley to see the magnificence of architecture which was used for burial, and you will find Tutankhamen’s tomb and the tomb of Ramses IV. You will have a ticket to visit 3 of the 63 tombs at the Valley of the Kings.

Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon

Then move to Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple the only woman who ruled ancient Egypt, and the only temple built in terrace formation into the cliff face in Egypt, and go to see The Colossi of Memnon, which represents the King seated on his throne. Each and each colossus’ height tall is about 21m.

Temple of Karnak

Drive to visit the east bank to see The Karnak Temple, the place of the achievements of many generations of ancient pharaohs during over 1500 years. A, about thirty pharaohs contributed to the building of this place, to reach a size, diversity and complexity never not seen elsewhere ever before.

Then you will move go on a shopping tour, then before driving drive to Luxor airport to take your flight and return back to Sharm El-Sheikh Airport and drive back to your hotel.

  For this tour a down payment of £90 will be required upon your arrival to Sharm El-Sheikh a maximum of 2 days before the tour, and the remaining balance will be required in cash on pick up from hotel on the tour day.

  Cancellation of this tour must be made 48 hours before the tour date – “No Refund”.
